Stainless steel brazing is performed with either an atmosphere controlled continuous furnace or a vacuum furnace. The former is preferred for large production runs, while the latter is used for small to medium production runs, particularly ones that require improvement to the thermal and/or mechanical properties of the metal during brazing. Both furnaces provide a brazing atmosphere resulting in strong joints and shiny surfacing.
