The Definition of Bucket Elevator Chains

The bucket elevator is a piece of equipment often seen but rarely defined. It is essentially a conveyor on which buckets are placed vertically and circulated throughout a work site. There are currently two series of bucket elevator which consist of NE (standard) and NSE (high-speed). The type chosen for a particular industry or work area will depend highly on the demand in that particular environment in addition to the type of material being transported.
