Lean Manufacturing Introduction
Lean manufacturing is a batch reduction technique and is built on a foundation of quality. The goal of lean is to reduce lead time by controlling quantity. Lean is essentially a quantity control system, built on a foundation of quality, that reduces costs through the elimination of waste.
